Welcome to Aspendale Stingrays Soccer Club

Whether you call it soccer or football, we love this game and we think you and your child will too.

Aspendale Soccer Club was formed in 2005 by a group of parents looking to provide their kids with the opportunity to get involved in the world game, soccer. The club foundations are built around the premise that by actively promoting team work and sportsmanship all players (both children and adults) will get the most out of playing this beautiful game. To find out more or get involved with running this family club please contact us.

With the support of our members and volunteers, our aim is to provide our local community with the opportunity to participate in, learn, play and enjoy soccer.

2026 Term 3 Skills Program (8-13yr Olds)

New

Term 3 Skills Development Program (U8–U13)

Commencing in Term 3 on Monday 20th July , our weekly skills sessions will transition into the Stingrays Skills Development Program (SDP). This refined initiative is specifically designed for players who are ready to commit to a higher standard of technical training and personal growth.

A New Standard of Development
This change reflects our commitment to providing a structured, high-quality environment. We are looking for players motivated to train with intent, consistency, and a growth mindset.

To maintain this environment, players will be held accountable for their attitude and actions. Please note that participants who are unable to meet these standards of focus and effort may be asked to leave the program.

Program Objectives
The Skills Development Program aims to:

Sharpen Technical Proficiency: Focused drills to improve ball mastery and execution.

Build On-Pitch Confidence: High-intensity sessions designed to challenge players under pressure.

Individual Growth: Complementing team training with a dedicated focus on personal skill sets.

Elite Environment: Grouping players with similar levels of commitment to ensure progressive and effective sessions.

Accountability & Behaviour
To ensure coaching quality remains high, we are introducing a Yellow and Red Card system. This system is designed to manage behaviours that do not align with the programme's professional standards, ensuring every player can train without distraction.

We are now accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from new players to join a team at Aspendale Stingrays Soccer Club in 2026.
