ASPENDALE FOOTBALL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS: TERMS AND CONDITIONS 2026

These Terms and Conditions apply to all players participating in the Football Development Squad (FDS) and the Skills Development Program (SDP). These fees cover coaching and facility costs only.

IMPORTANT: CLUB FEES ARE ADDITIONAL

General Club Registration fees (payable to Football Victoria and Football Australia) are separate and additional to the coaching fees outlined below. These club fees are mandatory for insurance coverage and league participation.

1. PROGRAM FEES AND PAYMENTS

1.1 Football Development Squad (FDS)

  • The annual coaching fee is $1,300 per season.
  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required upon acceptance of a place in the squad.
  • The remaining 50% balance must be settled in full no later than 31st March.
  • Payment plans for the balance may be available at the time of registration.

1.2 Skills Development Program (SDP)

  • Term fees must be paid in full prior to the first session of each term.
  • Commitment is for the duration of the defined 8-week term.

1.3 Payment Methods

  • All payments must be made in AUD via credit or debit card.
  • The club does not accept bank transfers, cheques, or cash.
  • Failure to settle coaching fees by the specified deadlines may result in immediate suspension from training and matches.

1.4 Tournament Fees

  • Additional fees may be required to cover participation in tournaments or external events throughout the year. These costs are not included in the annual or term-based coaching fees.

2. COMMITMENT AND WITHDRAWAL

  • By accepting a place in the FDS, families commit to the full annual coaching fee. The full fee remains payable regardless of withdrawal.
  • SDP participants commit to the full term. No pro-rata credits are provided for missed sessions or mid-term withdrawals.
  • Fees are non-transferable between players, siblings, or future seasons.

3. ACCOUNTABILITY AND BEHAVIOUR

All participants and families must adhere to the Program Code of Conduct. Aspendale SC operates a Yellow and Red Card system to maintain high training standards:

  • Yellow Card: A formal warning regarding focus, effort, or disruptive behaviour.
  • Red Card: Immediate removal from the training session. Repeated red cards may result in permanent removal from the program without a refund of fees.

4. UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT

  • Uniform costs are separate and not included in coaching or club registration fees.
  • Training apparel must be purchased via the designated online store.
  • Shin guards are mandatory for all sessions. Players without shin guards will not be permitted to participate for safety reasons.

5. WEATHER AND CANCELLATIONS

  • Sessions will proceed in rain unless the pitch is deemed unsafe by the club or Council.
  • Cancellations due to extreme heat (as per FV Heat Policy) or lightning will be communicated via official club channels.
  • The club is not required to provide make-up sessions or refunds for cancellations caused by weather or public holidays.

6. REFUND POLICY

  • Refund requests are considered only for long-term injury or illness (medical certificate required) or permanent relocation.
  • Change of mind or clashes with other extracurricular activities do not qualify for a refund.
  • All requests must be submitted in writing to footballdev@aspendalesc.com.

7. MEDIA CONSENT

Participants acknowledge that photography or video may be recorded for development analysis or club promotion. To opt out, families must notify the Program Coordinator in writing prior to the commencement of the season.

ACCEPTANCE

By accepting a place in an Aspendale SC Development Program and settling the initial fee/deposit, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Club Code of Conduct.
